Recycled aluminum scrap prices rise in Taiwan

9 Oct 2025 15:51 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
Domestic recycled aluminum scrap prices in Taiwan are rising, driven by dual pressures from increased demand and rising costs.

Recovering activity in the manufacturing, construction, and appliance sectors has increased downstream demand, and many companies are prioritizing recycled aluminum to control expenses.

Furthermore, stubbornly high international primary aluminum prices have increased smelting and processing costs, giving recycled scrap a price advantage. Additionally, factors supporting the price increase include higher transport and environmental compliance costs, as stricter regulations in certain areas reduce the efficiency of scrap collection and recycling.
