EAEU imposes AD duties on China’s aluminum foil

On October 17, 2025, the Department for Internal Market Defence of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) announced that it will levy a five-year anti-dumping (AD) duty on aluminum foil imports from China, effective 30 days after this official announcement.

The AD duty rate ranges from 17.16% to 20.24%, applied to aluminum foils in rolls with a thickness from 0.0046 mm to 0.2 mm, a width from 20 mm to 1,616 mm, a length of more than 150 meters, no matter with a base or a coating or not. The HS codes for goods involved are 7607 11 110 9, 7607 11 190 9, 7607 11 900 0, 7607 19 100 0, 7607 19 900 9, 7607 20 100 0, and 7607 20 900 0.

The Eurasian Economic Union's (EAEU) also approved the price commitments proposed by Xiamen Xiashun Aluminium Foil Co., Ltd., exempting it from the AD duty if the commitment is met.
