WBMS: Global primary aluminum market has supply shortage in Sep

According to the latest report from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global supply of primary aluminum fell short of demand by 192,100 tons in September 2025. Production totaled 6.0163 million tons, while consumption reached 6.2084 million tons.

In the first nine months of the year, the cumulative supply shortfall was 1.2854 million tons. During this period, global production was 54.5499 million tons, significantly lower than the consumption of 55.8353 million tons.
