CMR Green, one of the leading producers of recycled nonferrous metals based in Faridabad, India, is adopting advanced European sorting technology to maintain its position as a premium aluminum alloy supplier globally.

The company has partnered with Cologne, Germany-based Steinert GmbH to deploy sensor-based systems. These include induction sorters, X-ray sorters, and eddy current separators designed to deliver precise separation and high recovery rates, even under challenging Indian operating conditions.

CMR Green Vice President Ved Prakash Gupta views the equipment as a good fit, saying that innovation is the core of CMR Green Technology. The partnership has improved product purity and operational stability across the company's 12 plants, which process around 600,000 metric tons of recycled metal annually.

By enhancing sorting quality, CMR Green not only improves profitability but also reduces up to 95% of CO2 emissions compared to producing primary metals, supporting India’s circular economy.
