ALUKO Group expands Tennessee presence with $107.7 million aluminum plant

South Korea-based ALUKO Group plans to open its second US manufacturing site in Halls, Tennessee, involving a US$107.7 million investment. This aluminum formwork and window producer will repurpose the former Tupperware building in Lauderdale County to house its integrated aluminum operations, a move that is expected to generate 285 new jobs for the region.

This facility will produce aluminum products to serve the solar energy, construction, and electric vehicle sectors. The expansion comes quickly after the group’s December 2024 decision to build a separate plant in Jackson.

Once the retrofitted plant is operational, it will support ALUKO's existing customer base and aid its growth within these specific technical sectors.
