Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) reached a new production peak of 1,623,139 metric tonnes in 2025, surpassing its previous record of 1,622,261 metric tonnes in 2024. This output exceeded annual targets even with the disruptions from an industrial fire late in the year.

Besides production, the company completed more than 42 million work hours without a Lost Time Injury, securing two full years of injury-free operations for the first time in its 50-year history.

CEO Ali Al Baqali credited the success to the dedication of employees and contractors, noting the company’s ability to exceed benchmarks despite adversity.

Moving forward, Alba plans to use internal initiatives to further improve production efficiency and throughput while maintaining its focus on operational capabilities.
