EU’s AD duties on China’s aluminum flat-rolled products to expire on Oct 12, 2026

28 Jan 2026 13:35 reported by Joy Liu

A A A
The European Commission announced on January 26, 2026, that anti-dumping (AD) measures on aluminum flat-rolled products from China will expire on October 12, 2026. The definitive AD duty was originally established on October 8, 2021.

European producers have a window to request a sunset review starting from this notice until three months before the expiration date.

To keep the duties in place, applicants must provide sufficient evidence showing that the expiry of the measures would be likely to lead to continued dumping and injury to the domestic industry. If no valid request for a review is submitted within this timeframe, the existing trade protections will expire as scheduled.
