Tubos Reunidos Group, a Spanish seamless steel tubular producer, is collaborating with 11 Basque companies on H2SKID, a project focused on a 1.25 MW portable electrolyzer. This "plug & play" platform integrates hydrogen production, compression, and storage into modular containers compatible with PEM and AEM electrolysis technologies.

The initiative provides flexible infrastructure for long-term testing in real industrial environments to reduce technological risks before large-scale investment.

Tubos Reunidos contributes metallurgical expertise by developing seamless steel tubes specifically for hydrogen service, ensuring infrastructure safety, reliability, and durability.

Coordinated by Sarralle and the Basquenergy Cluster, the project aims to accelerate industrial decarbonization. Validating this technology under real conditions facilitates the integration of green hydrogen into energy-intensive production processes.
