A A A
National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) and NLC India Limited (NLCIL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on energy projects.

This agreement establishes a framework for developing a 1,200 MW thermal captive power plant and various renewable energy initiatives. The partnership aims to secure NALCO’s long-term power needs through cost-effective and sustainable solutions.

Besides power generation, the two state-owned enterprises will explore coal supply arrangements to ensure fuel security. This cooperation possibly leads to the creation of a Joint Venture Company for future projects.

By integrating national resources, NLCIL and NALCO hope to strengthen industrial growth and energy security while meeting India's sustainability goals.
