WBMS: Global primary aluminum market has supply surplus in Feb 2026

According to the latest report from the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), the global primary aluminum market had a supply surplus of 68,900 tons in February 2026. During this month, global production reached 6.1771 million tons, while consumption totaled 6.1081 million tons.

For the first two months of 2026, the cumulative supply surplus was 9,200 tons. Total production during this period amounted to 12.3577 million tons, slightly exceeding the consumption volume of 12.3485 million tons.
