Constellium secures multi-year aluminum extrusion contract with Airbus

Constellium and Airbus have established a multi-year agreement for the supply of advanced aluminum alloy extrusions. The contract involves the delivery of various components, including bars and both small and large extrusions designed for critical aircraft structures.

Constellium will utilize its specialized Airware® aluminum-lithium solution to provide the high strength-to-weight performance required for aerospace applications.

Production will take place at Constellium’s French facilities in Issoire and Montreuil-Juigné.

Philippe Hoffmann, President of Constellium’s Aerospace and Transportation business unit, said that the partnership relies on the company’s industrial reliability and comprehensive product portfolio. This agreement ensures supply continuity for Airbus programs while utilizing Constellium’s proprietary manufacturing capabilities and recycling expertise to meet stringent industry standards.
